Bicentennial Birthday Bash

The Theater with a Mission (TWAM) will showcase Florida’s History through music, dance, drama, and diversity. There will be hands-on workshops with international experts, new research by scholars, performances of historical texts, reenactments, and original new plays.

This is part of Tallahassee’s Bicentennial Celebration. This is a free event but registration is required for attendance.

TWAM also has educational resources for children, ages 9+, about how Indigenous, Black, and Women experienced life in Terrorital Florida 200 years ago. There are also resources on songs, music, dancing, balls, and fights from the same era.
