Winter Festival
The Winter Festival will be held on December 4th, 2021 (Saturday) beginning at 3:00 PM and lasting until 10:00 PM in Downtown Tallahassee.
This is the 35th Annual Festival
This is a free event, put on by the City of Tallahassee
Jingle Bell Run
The Jingle Bell Run (entry form via PDF) is sponsored by Capital Health Plan. It begins at 6:15 PM. The online registration is here. Entry costs $15. The start location is at the corner of South Monroe Street and Park Avenue, Westbound.
Nighttime Holiday Parade
The parade begins at 7:15 PM.
Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane is located in McCarthy Park. It will be opened from December 05 until December 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On December 4, Candy Cane Lane will open early at 3:00 PM and close at 10:00 PM.
Children’s Activity Area
The children’s activity area is located on Kleman Plaza. There will be family friendly holiday movies from 6:00-10:00 PM. Some of the movies being shown are Kung Fu Panda Holiday, Merry Madagascar, and Shrek the Halls.
The Lighting Ceremony
The official Lighting Ceremony will kick off at 6:00 PM at the parade announcer’s platform, which is located at Bloxham Park (on South Monroe Street).
Stages
There will be four stages featuring various entertainment (dancers, music, and dramas).
The Choral/Small Ensemble Stage - On Kleman Plaza
Ponce de Leon Park Stage - Near Ponce de Leon Park
The Snowmobile - located on Adams Street, near City Hall
College Avenue Stage - located on College Avenue
