Shakespeare in the Park: Much Ado About Nothing

Southern Shakespeare Company’s Annual Shakespeare in the Park

Shakespeare in the Park is the annual festival put on by the Southern Shakespeare Company. This is a free festival for Tallahassee residents. It will be held at the Capital City Amphitheater stage that is located in Cascades Park. This years’ play is Much Ado About Nothing and will star Kevin McDonald from Kids in the Hall. A synopsis of the play (originally titled Love’s Labour’s Won) from the Royal Shakespeare Company is in the video below.

There will be food trucks at the event.

Shakespeare in the Park is a free event. There will be an ASL performance interpretation as well.

Information for parking at Cascades and downtown Tallahassee can be found on the Cascades Park website.
