  • Tallahassee Swing Band’s Tuesday Night Dance at the American Legion Hall at 7:30 PM.

  • Beer-go at Oyster City Brewing Company starts at 6:30 PM.

  • Shelby Van Pelt talks with the Thomasville Center for the Arts at 7:00 PM. Van Pelt wrote Remarkable Bright Creatures.

  • Downtown Yoga at Kleman Park begins at 6:00 PM. This is a free event, bring your mat and water

  • Bramble’s Bluegrass Jam starts at 5:00 PM at Blue Tavern.

  • Drunk Bingo with Roadhead Rhonda at Barrel Proof Lounge Midtown starts at 8:00 PM

  • Wheels, Wine, and Whiskey at Goodwood Museum will start at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $40.

  • Live Oak, a solo show written by Ms. Anjali Austin, is based on 33 quilts inherited from her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Gussie Beatrice Arnold Hill (1912-1988).



Friday, October 04, 2024:

  • Walls Distilling Company is having a vodka bottle release party starting today at 5:00 PM and ending on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Ages 21+.

  • The Downtown Getdown returns to Adams Street starting at 6:00 PM.

  • A murder-mystery dinner at Wakulla’s Lodge, Death of a Gangster, begins at 5:00 PM. The theme is 1920s and tickets are $100.

  • First Friday at the Art Park starts at 6:00 PM.

  • Dance with Me Africa, a free exhibition of forty paintings by Marina Brown at the Anderson Brickler Gallery begins.

  • A Bannerman Block Party begins at 6:00 PM, There will be food and fun for all.

  • Eureka! A night of science at the library” - this event is for adults as refreshments and nibbles will be served, while interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions occur. Begins at 6:00 PM at the main library downtown.

  • Making Awesome is hosting a class on learning how to 3D print starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $25.


Tuesday, October 08, 2024:

  • Blue Tavern hosts Bluesday Tuesday. This week features Corey Hall, who starts performing at 8:00 PM. There will be a $5 cover.

  • The Lunch and Learn program continues at Goodwood Museum. This week’s speaker is Doug Alderson who tells of the spooky swamp stories from North Florida’s swamps. This is a brown-bag (aka bring your own lunch and drinks) event but donations are accepted at the door. The event begins at noon.

  • Beer-go at Oyster City Brewing begins at 6:30 PM.

  • The Tallahassee Swing Band/Dance Night begins at 7:30 PM at American Legion Hall. A ticket is $7-10.

  • Tallahassee’s Chamber of Commerce hosts the Professional Women’s Forum at Dunlap’s Champions Center at 11:30 AM.

  • The Tallahassee Old City Cemetery Tour begins at 9:30 AM. The tour will be led by the Florida Archaeology Network.

  • KC and the Sunshine Band will perform at Adderley Amphitheater at 7:30 PM. There are a few tickets left starting at $50.

  • Hearth and Soul has a Sip and Shop event beginning at 11:00 AM.

  • Leon County’s Volunteer Firetruck Roundup begins at Tom Brown Park at 10:00 AM. This is a family-fun event where adults and children can see a firetruck up close, celebrate Volunteer Firemen and Firewomen, and have their faces painted.

  • Goodwood Gardens and Museum’s Fall Plant Sale features a collection of heirloom, native, and "Florida-proof" plants. Members get early admission at 8:30 AM while everyone else can enter at 9:00 AM.

  • The Second Saturday Event for the Museum of Florida History will focus on Baseball in Florida. The event will start at 11 AM at the Main Library.

  • The Minor League Pickleball Tournament will occur at Chaires Park starting at 8:00 AM. Registration is $70.

  • Tallahassee’s Vegan Food Festival begins at noon on FAMU Way.

  • Tallahassee Museum’s Night Prowl begins at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $14-16 and must be purchased by October 09.

  • Tallahassee Museum’s Zoobilee starts at 7:00 PM.

  • Octronica at Real Cool Time Records starts at 8:00 PM

  • Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra is performing a Halloween Spooktacular at The Adderley Amphitheater at 6:00 PM. There will be trick-or-treating as well as music. This is a free event.

  • Frenchtown Rising, a “Frenchtown Getdown” before FAMU’s games, will occur at Macomb and Georgia Streets.

  • Howl-O-Ween at Lake Tribe Brewing at 4:00 PM
