Word of [South} 2021
Word of [South]:
A Festival Of Literature and Music
The Festival begins on April 10, 2021, and ends on April 11, 2021. Tickets are restricted due to Covid-19 so only 1,000 people will be let in per day. Tickets will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. They can be found on the ticket page on the Word of the [South] website.
Entry is free. The time you may enter the festival is printed on your ticket. Readmittance is allowed. Children over five years of age will need their own ticket. The tickets cover all shows for that one day. Each day needs its own ticket.
The Festival will be held at the Capital City Amphitheater which is at 1001 South Gadsden Street, in Tallahassee Florida (32301).
More information about Cascades Park and the Capital City Amphitheatre can be found on its website. This includes information on parking, amenities, and a map.
Children will find the Storybook Village exciting as it features stories read by local authors, story performances and productions, and stories through music. It will occur on Saturday, 10 April 2021, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The schedule of authors and performances can be found on the Word of [South] website. Saturday’s events begin at 12:00 PM and Sunday’s events begin at 12:30 PM. A more intensive biography on each performer can be found on the website, along with FAQs such as if dogs are allowed and wheelchair accessibility of the park.
