The Southern Shakespeare Festival

The 6th Annual Southern Shakespeare Festival is put on by the Southern Shakespeare Company (SSC). This year’s play is Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and will be performed on the Capital City Amphitheatre Stage. The junior troupe, The Bardlings will also perform before the main performance.




May 6th

9 am – 11 pm – An all-day fundraiser with Sonny’s BBQ
6:30 pm – Preshow begins ft. The Bardlings’ ShakespeaREtold V!
7:30 pm – Twelfth Night starring Hal Sparks

May 7th

6:30 pm – Preshow begins ft. The Bardlings’ ShakespeaREtold V!
7:30 pm – Twelfth Night starring Hal Sparks

May 8th

6:30 pm – Preshow begins ft. The Bardlings’ ShakespeaREtold V!
7:30 pm – Twelfth Night starring Hal Sparks

May 9th

6:30 pm – Preshow begins ft. The Bardlings’ ShakespeaREtold V!

This is a free festival!

May 8th’s performance will have sign language interpreters. For best seating in order to see the ASL interpreter, please email laura@southernshakes.org.
