Covid-19 is named after the full name of the disease and the year it first appeared. COronaVIrus Disease 2019.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has an updated list of the current scams, such as home vaccinations and home test kits, that are being peddled for Covid-19.


Medical

Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center. This includes the Information Dashboard and infection map. A more detailed timeline of the impact between opening/closing and case numbers can be seen here.

Mayo Clinic: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). This portal has information, prevention tips, treatment options, resources, a self-assessment tool, and aftercare knowledge.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): Coronavirus. Includes a list of proper disinfectant for cleaning surfaces and products.

Work and Finance

The United States Department of Labor: Covid-19 and the Workforce. This website has answers to frequent questions, information, and worker’s rights.


Federal Student Aid via U.S. Department of Education: Coronavirus and Forbearance Information for Students. Borrowers and Parents. This website has information about the financial impact of loan repayment during this time.


Small Business Majority: Covid-19 Updates for Small Business. Updated regularly about resources and information for small and medium enterprises.


The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Coronavirus (COVID-19): Small Business Guidance and Loan Resources. Information from the SBA for small businesses during Covid-19.

Governmental Response

World Health Organization (WHO) Coronavirus Disease 2019: Information. This website deals with the WHO’s response to Covid-19.


Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Coronavirus (Covid-19) Main page. This has several sub-pages that are nested with various information on the disease, treatment, help, cleaning, and promotional material.


National Public Radio (NPR): The Coronavirus Crisis, Tracking the Pandemic-How Quickly is the Coronavirus Spreading State by State? This is an interactive page (can click on individual states on several graphs) that is updated regularly with new information.


Medicare: Medicare and Coronavirus. If you or a loved one uses Medicare, their website is updated with information for Covid-19.


United States Department of Agriculture (USDA): Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). This website has information on the food chain and assistance therein.


USA.Gov: Covid-19. The Governmental Response to Coronavirus/Covid-19.


CDC, FEMA and The White House: Covid-19.

The CDC has posters for work, home, and general-purpose. These are PDFs that are available for download. Some themes deal with factsheets, guides to clean hands, and motivational posters,
